Compoze

How To Use Compoze

A short guide for files, organization, versions, and MCP agent access.

Start With A File

Compoze is a shared markdown workspace for global-context files. Write the working context once, then keep it easy for you and approved agents to find.

Write the context once

Create markdown files for project notes, decisions, useful links, instructions, and anything an agent should know before helping.

Group related files

Use groups for broad areas. Example: put Client brief.md inside a Client Work group.

Tag cross-cutting themes

Use tags for labels that can apply anywhere. Example: add a Research tag to files across several groups.

Save important versions

Live edits appear as you work. Use Save when you want a named version that you can review later in History.

Connect An Agent With MCP

Open Settings, choose an MCP access level, copy the endpoint into an agent that supports MCP, then sign in and approve the connection.

Read: agents can inspect files. Edit: agents can update live markdown. Save: agents can create saved versions.

A Good First Workspace

Make a group for your current project, add a tag like Research or Agent-ready, and ask the agent to read the file before making edits.
